What a PS5 costs before any deal
Sony's US list prices from its March 27, 2026 announcement, effective April 2. A "$100 off" banner only means something next to these.

Five checks before you buy
- Compare against the list price above, not the "was" price on the banner. Some "was" prices are inflated.
- Disc or Digital? The Digital Edition can't play disc copies, so a boxed copy of GTA VI won't work in it. Resale and sharing are only possible with discs.
- Read what the bundle contains. A bundle with a game you'd buy anyway is a real saving; one with a game you don't want isn't.
- Check who is selling. On marketplaces, buy from the retailer itself or a reputable seller, not a third party reselling at a markup.
- Know the return window. Many stores extend holiday returns into January, but the rules differ. Check before you pay.
